Corning Non-Warranty UniCam® High-Performance Installation Tool (TL-UCP) Repair & Service
Beginning August 17th, 2026, Legacy Fiberoptics is proud to support the Corning UniCam® High-Performance Installation Tool (TL-UCP), helping contractors, network installers, and fiber technicians keep their termination equipment operating at peak performance.
The Corning UniCam TL-UCP is a precision field termination tool designed for installing UniCam LC, SC, and ST-compatible connectors on both single-mode and multimode fiber. Featuring built-in visual verification technology, the tool provides immediate pass/fail feedback during connector installation, helping technicians achieve consistent, high-quality terminations in the field.
Because these tools are relied upon for accurate fiber terminations, regular maintenance and timely repairs are essential. Over time, components may experience wear, contamination, battery-related issues, optical alignment concerns, or operational faults that can affect termination quality and productivity.
Please note: Legacy Fiberoptics will only be handling non-warranty Corning UniCam repairs through this process. Tools covered under Corning’s 1-year warranty should continue to follow Corning’s existing warranty repair process through Corning Customer Care.

To begin:
1. Complete our online RMA Request Form.
2. Provide your tool model number and a description of the issue.
3. Our team will review your request and issue an RMA number.
4. Ship the equipment to Legacy Fiberoptics using the provided instructions.
5. Once received, our technicians will evaluate the unit and provide service recommendations.
