PIM (Passive Intermodulation) Analyzers are test equipment’s that test and measure the PIM distortion levels for various uplink and downlink frequencies in a wireless network.

Cable analyzers measure the electrical properties of a cable, primarily checking for continuity, wire configuration, signal attenuation, and potential faults like breaks or shorts, to assess the overall integrity of the cable and ensure it can properly transmit signals without degradation, making it a crucial tool for network installation and troubleshooting.

PIM and cable analyzers are primarily used by telecommunications engineers and technicians working on cellular networks, particularly those responsible for installing and maintaining antenna systems, cables, and other RF components as these tools are essential for identifying and diagnosing potential issues with signal quality caused by passive intermodulation (PIM) within the network infrastructure, making them crucial for ensuring optimal signal transmission and minimizing interference.
