The Swift KF4A-HDC All-In-One Fusion Splicer is a powerful, field-ready solution designed for active cladding alignment and the installation of hardened splice-on connectors in demanding environments. Built for efficiency and precision, this advanced splicer enables technicians to complete the entire splicing process with ease—making it ideal for FTTH, broadband, enterprise, and data center applications.
At the core of the KF4A-HDC is its integrated All-In-One system, combining five essential functions into a single unit: stripping, cleaning, cleaving, splicing, and protecting. This streamlined workflow is especially valuable in tight spaces or elevated work environments, such as pole installations, where efficiency and simplicity are critical.
Engineered for durability and long-term performance, the KF4A-HDC features a rotating blade life of up to 77,000 cleaves and electrode life up to 38,000 splices, significantly reducing maintenance requirements. Its thermal stripping technology helps prevent fiber damage, ensuring clean, reliable splices without scratches.
The KF4A-HDC is fully compatible with Fusion Splice-On Connectors (FSOC) and supports OptiTap®-style hardened connector solutions (HDCFT-01), making it an excellent choice for harsh outdoor environments where secure, weather-resistant connections are essential.
