Test Leader Expands Relationship with Legacy Fiberoptics as Part of Commitment to Provide Customers with Optimum Support
Allen, TX – March 24, 2021 – Anritsu Company announces that it has named Legacy Fiberoptics as an authorized service center for select Anritsu handheld RF test instruments. The agreement expands a long-term successful relationship between the companies and allows Anritsu to continue to best serve customers in the eastern half of the United States.
Legacy Fiberoptics, based in Clinton, NY, now operates as a full-service repair and calibration facility for designated Anritsu Site Master™ cable and antenna analyzers. By providing an east coast-based authorized location, service facilities are located across the U.S. allowing instrument repairs to be conducted more efficiently.
Anritsu conducted extensive training with the Legacy Fiberoptics staff to ensure that repair and calibration processes met Anritsu’s stringent requirements. Additionally, Anritsu provided Legacy Fiberoptics with repair systems and protocols identical to those used in their own facilities.
All equipment and calibration procedures are National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) traceable to ensure the highest quality service available. Legacy Fiberoptics’ veteran technicians are highly experienced at troubleshooting to the component level and have worked on the majority of equipment in the market.
With the agreement, Legacy Fiberoptics will service and repair the Anritsu Site Master “E” series of handheld cable and antenna analyzers, as well as the S331D and S331L models. Legacy Fiberoptics will continue to support Anritsu optical test solutions, as well. These include the CMA5000A OTDRs, Network Master™ Series, ACCESS Master™ Series, and MS9710x family of optical spectrum analyzers (OSA).
